Furnace ReplacementReplacing your old heating system with a newer high-efficiency furnace or a geothermal system may reduce your heating costs by 30% or more, and improve your comfort, health, and safety! Heating ProductsEco Air, Inc. offers the latest high-efficiency products from leading manufacturers to meet any application in your home or business. Gas Furnaces (Forced Air Furnaces) The AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) number represents how efficiently a furnace converts fuel to energy; higher AFUE percentages mean better energy-efficiencies. Eco Air, Inc. provides furnaces with efficiency ratings from 80% to 98.2% AFUE to meet any heating application.
Heat Pumps Heat pumps provide all-in-one cooling and heating. During summer months, a heat pump works like an air conditioner, moving heat from inside your home to the outdoors. During cooler weather, warmer air is brought from the outside into your home or office. Ductless Heating (Mini-Splits) Ductless mini-splits can provide comfortable heating for those applications where ductwork is not an option, such as fully finished areas, attics, or cabins. Ductless, mini-split-system heat pumps (mini splits) make good retrofit add-ons to houses with "non-ducted" heating systems, such as hydronic (hot water heat), radiant panels, and space heaters (wood, kerosene, propane). They can also be a good choice for room additions, where extending or installing distribution ductwork is not feasible. Like standard air-source heat pumps, mini splits have two main components: an outdoor compressor/condenser, and an indoor air-handling unit. A conduit, which houses the power cable, refrigerant tubing, suction tubing, and a condensate drain, links the outdoor and indoor units.
Boilers Designed to work with a home's radiant heating system, gas- and oil-fired boilers deliver efficient, consistent warmth without the noise and draft of forced air systems. Radiant Heating (In-Floor Heating) Radiant heating systems warm people and other objects in rooms rather than the air. In most cases, radiant heating can provide the same comfort level with lower internal air temperatures than a conventionally heated area. Radiant floor heating doesn’t stir up dust or allergens and it reduces heat loss from your home. People are completely surrounded with radiant warmth, and the air temperature is uniform from floor to ceiling. Hydronic systems are recommended when the application is for a relatively large area or will be the primary heating source. Hydronic systems require skilled designers and Eco Air, Inc. is recognized as one of the best in all of Minnesota. We can design a system to meet just about any application.
